What do you do

to inspire you students in STEM?

The main part of any TeachMeet is hearing stories from teachers and other education professionals about what works in practice. We want to know about what you do that makes your students interested in and excited about STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

This STEM TeachMeet takes place in the unique setting of the Science Museum at Wroughton - a former RAF airfield, and now home to over 200,000 objects from the Science Museum's fascinating collection. Original scientific, engineering and technology materials that have shaped our understanding of the world are kept in the Library where we will meet - we'll even get a quick tour on the night!

Space is limited, so get your tickets while you can!

At the STEM TeachMeet you can...

1.    Give a micro presentation: 7 minutes to tell us about something you do that inspires your students in STEM.

2.    Give a nano presentation: 2 minutes to highlight one great STEM activity.

3.    Be an audience participant: come along, ask questions and soak up the inspiration.

This is a chance for education professionals to hear ideas from each other, a chance to hear about practice that makes a difference. It is about being engaged and inspired by our immediate colleagues and making some really useful new contacts. And all this for free, housed in one of the most exceptional collections of STEM history in the world. An opportunity not to be missed!

This TeachMeet is being hosted by Liz Lister, Regional STEM Clubs Advisor with The STEM Clubs Network,  in conjunction with the Science Museum at Wroughton, Catalyst, STEMNET and the British Science Association.
